March 10-11, Sat - Sun: Annual Reenactment at Picacho Pass State Park in Arizona. The annual Civil War in the Southwest, with a special commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Skirmish at Picacho Pass, will take place March 10-11, 2012 at the Picacho Peak state park. The event will have reenactiments of the major battles in the southwest. The event is free for reenactors

March 26-28, 2012 Battle of Glorieta Anniversary
The decisive battle of the New Mexico Campaign during the Civil War. The Texas Confederates were marching north to
Fort Union and Colorado.
The 150th anniversary re enactment of the battles of Glorietta and Apache Canyon will be at El Rancho de las Golondrinas Living History Museum. Near Santa Fe New Mexico.
All regestrations need to be in by March 15th, 2012, so we can plann for the dinner. Because of space linitations, we must llimit both the dinner and dance to 100 people.
if you register after the 15th of March the event fee will be $15 and no option for dinner.
This will be a 4 day event with set upstarting on the 3rd.
The registration fee is $ 10 per person for the event.
There is also a fee of $10 per persom for the dinner and ball .you must be pre regestered to attend the dinner and ball
Friday night the 4th. There will be a ball for adult re enactors only, with the NM Territorial Brass band. There will be no Alcohol at the ball.
we are working on a seperate entertainment for children whose parents are at the ball.
There will be a Tin type photographer at the ball.
Straw, water, johns and some hay will be provided along with wood if fires are permitted
Thursday afternoon and Friday morning will include etiquette classes on dinning and balls.
Saturday night the 5th, there will be a candle light tour. There will be drinks and cookies at the starting place.
There will be history lectures ,period medical history and a fashion show.
There Will be drawings on Sunday for $150,$75 and $50, after the battle.

Will present its 17th annual Massing of Colors at the Santa Fe Veteran’s Memorial Monument, West De Vargas between Galisteo and Don Gasper the Santa Fe Chapter of Military Order of the World Wars will present its 17th annual Massing of Colors. Numerous Civil War and other re-enactors will parade their color and honor guards. Pipes, Bugles, patriotic music and song.
All in honor of New Mexico’s Veterans and their organizations.
